Chicken Chipotle Burger with Avocado Cream
Monterey jack cheese slices with jalapeño
Our popular Monterey Jack Cheese with Jalapeño has a spicy piquant flavour that becomes more pronounced with age. Delicious for spicing up everyday sandwiches or adding zip to your favourite grilled burgers or baked dishes. Always fresh in our resealable pack.

Ingredients
- 600 g (1 1/3 lb.) minced chicken
- 15 ml (1 tbsp.) chipotle peppers (canned), chopped
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) breadcrumbs
Avocado cream
- 1 avocado
- 80 ml (1/3 cup) sour cream
- Zest and juice from half a lime
- 1 garlic clove, finely minced
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) fresh cilantro leaves
- 4 burger buns of your choice
- 4 slices Armstrong Monterey Jack cheese with Jalapeño
- Your choice of toppings (tomatoes, onions, lettuce, etc.)
Directions
- Preheat and oil the BBQ.
- In a bowl, combine the minced chicken, chipotle, and breadcrumbs. Season. Shape into burger patties.
- Using a food processor, puree the ingredients for the avocado cream. Season.
- Cook the patties on the BBQ over medium heat, approximately 4-5 minutes each side, or until desired doneness is obtained.
- Top the buns with Monterey Jack cheese, patties, avocado cream, and toppings of your choice.
